The latest new feature to arrive in both is dubbed “sneak peek” and appears to represent a new way for users to glance at pages they are interested in opening. Unlike sneak peek offered by Google, there was no way for users to scroll down to take a more in-depth look at the site if they wanted to. The outlet noted there does not appear to be a way for a sneak peek page to transform into a regular tab if the user decides they want to stay on the new site. The new feature is currently in Chrome Canary and development versions of the browser, meaning not all users of the American tech giant’s browser can get their hands on it . After the site loaded with the sneak peek feature has been read, users can easily close it with the tap of a button. Long-pressing a web link would open a small window that allowed users to glance at the page in question. Google regularly updates the browser for users, meaning new functions and improvements are always being introduced. GOOGLE Chrome for Android could soon receive an ultimate upgrade that makes browsing the web simpler than ever before. Android Police was the first to notice the new feature and demonstrate its functionality. Google Chrome was created by the Mountain View firm and is the most popular web client in the world. Full Story of how Tamale ‘Sakawa King’ and his gang executed $15m fraud
The romance scam victims would carry out acts on behalf of the conspiracy, including forwarding counterfeit checks, receiving and shipping merchandise, and transferring proceeds via wire, US Mail, ocean freight, and express package delivery services. Martins, Maxwell, Bernard Okorhi, Victor Okorhi, and/or Miah would get the IP addresses of potentially vulnerable email servers and target them for intrusion. Maxwell, Miah, and both Okorhis created false identities and created dating profiles with false emails to correspond to their false dating profiles. Their role in the conspiracy also included originating the spoofed emails that will be explained later. The United States Department of Justice through the The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has released details of how notorious Tamale cyber fraudster, Maxwell Atugba Peter, 26, and his gang cunningly executed the $15 million fraud. The rest are, Maxwell Atugba Abayeta aka Maxwell Peter, 26, and Babatunde Martins, 62, of Ghana and Benard Emurhowhoariogho Okorhi, 39, a Nigerian citizen who resides in Ghana. Using US based IP addresses offered through VPN services, they would access a variety of websites, including credit card transaction processors and dating websites. They would then spoof the email addresses of those involved in the transactions and send instructions causing the financial transfers to be redirected to accounts controlled by members of the conspiracy. Through these, they lured victims into online romance scams, gold-buying scams, and a variety of advanced fee fraud scams. Because they had control of email accounts at Crye-Leike, they could tell when fund transfers related to real estate sales were scheduled to take place. Maxwell Peter and his cartel since 2012 had defrauded U.S. companies and citizens of approximately $15 million, as reported by MyNewsGh.com. Source: https://www.ghanaweb.com/

Shatta Wale speaks after ‘surviving’ death prophecy
In message on his Facebook page, Shatta Wale threw jabs at the peddlers of those death prophecies describing them as fake Christians. “God said I should tell Shatta Wale that if he is not very careful and cautious, he will be involved in an accident in December and die,” Prophet Adom reportedly said. Prophet Stephen Adom, the same person who has predicted death for Afia Schwarzenegger, came out to warn Shatta Wale to be careful or he would die on December 24, 2018. Shatta Wale had earlier in the year been prophesied by many ‘men of God’ to die within this year if he did not change his ways. The controversial musician had fought off these doom prophecies with threats of burning down some churches if the prophecy failed to come to pass. While the musician had brushed off the prophecy, it looks like he had his fingers crossed for the day and he has taken to social media to celebrate. Dancehall music star Shatta Wale has spoken for the first time after ‘surviving’ the latest death prophecy which was placed on him. “Fire Burn Fake Christians this Christmas Think say u get medicine, noooo Me Ade drink blood and bath blood and also keep blood … I AM DA BEAST THAT THIS WORLD HASNT SEEN BEFORE, I AM TOO BLESSED MY NIGGA TOO FUCKEN BLESSED Source: https://www.ghanaweb.com/

The fire service personnel are to determine the cause of the fire. They told Joy News’ Nancy Emefa Dzradosi, they saw a thick cloud of smoke billowing from one of the shops upstairs and they had to call the fire service. Another claimed he had to personally ride an okada to the offices of the Fire Service before they were able to respond. This fire has gutted some shops at the Makola market in Accra with general goods for sale up in flames on Christmas day. “We saw smoke coming out and we had to help ourselves by picking some of our things out of the shop. There is a divided front on government’s decision to support the construction, some describing it as a needless expenditure. Archbishop Duncan Williams, who is also Chairman of the fundraising committee, took his campaign to former presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Mahama and in a radio interview with Accra based Joy FM, the Archbishop revealed that the two former presidents have raised concerns about the project. Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams, who has been spearheading a fundraising campaign for the construction of the National Cathedral has indicated that two of the former presidents Jerry Rawlings and John Mahama have concerns with the decision on the cathedral. He added that the Secretariat will bring clarity to all the concerns that have been raised by the public, adding that the Cathedral should unite the country rather than divide it. Government says the construction of the building will come at no cost to the taxpayer but said it will provide seed money for its construction. Rev. Dr Paul Frimpong-Manso who announced the amount said “You may say it is too much but it is not too much if you think about what God has done for Ghana. “Whatever concerns they and the public have has come to our attention and we are addressing them and very soon our secretariat will address all these issues,” he told the radio station. It is expected to seat 5,000 people in its main auditorium and will be constructed by renowned British-Ghanaian architect Sir David Adjaye.
NPP Government warned by IMANI
“Now that UNIPASS is suspended, Mr President take a hard look at those who float projects and procurement opportunities just for graft!” IMANI indicated. IMANI has been working on trade facilitation issues for years. He commended the government for suspending UNIPASS but warned government to be careful. Policy Think Tank IMANI is forewarning President Akufo-Addo to take steps to nip corruption in his government before it nips him out of power, as cited by www.ghanaweb.com. This is evident in the dividends GCNET pays to government on a yearly basis. On Monday the week, IMANI delivered 275 individually addressed letters to Members of Parliament on how Ghana’s trade flow could be disrupted due to the introduction of another similar technology at the ports. We dont benefit directly, but the progress of Ghana is our progress too. In a report from Kofi Bentil, Vice President of IMANI, Akufo-Addo is being warned to take a hard look at ideas his people float to him for implementation, because most of them are conduits of corruption that could bring him down In September 2018, DANIDA, a project sponsor recommended that after the January 1, 2019 start date of UNI-PASS, there should be an 18 month development, installation and configuration period. For the purpose of reminders, below are some of the crucial questions IMANI asked. QUESTIONS: QUESTION: How much, percentage wise, are revenues likely to increase from the existing situation with the new system? Will this be large enough to offset the potential loss revenue from government shareholding in GCNet? ? How do the combined charges of GCNet and West Blue compare with that of UNI-PASS at 0.75%? Isn’t this financially over burdening the importer? ? What will the transition look like and what consequences will it have for trade facilitation and revenue mobilisation? ? Why is government awarding a higher contract rate for a longer period of 10 years? ? What review processes has the Ministry of Trade carried out recently (can evidence be adduced) to justify the signing of this agreement? ? Can MoTI share the results of the feasibility studies (2015) on the ports, conducted by CUPIA of Korea Customs Services and Ghana Link Network Services, the very companies that have been sole-sourced to cancel existing contracts at huge costs? ? Where is CTN system in all this? Are they being maintained and who is paying for it?. How much is it costing the government? Source: https://www.ghanaweb.com/
