Kazakhstan: Ethnic clashes kill 10, injure dozens

A minimum of 10 folks have died and dozens have been injured in reported ethnic clashes in Kazakhstan.

About 30 homes and 15 industrial properties had been destroyed through the conflict in Masanchi village on Friday.


Ethnic Kazakhs clashed with members of the Dungans, a Muslim group of Chinese language origin, studies say.

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev mentioned the realm was “under the control” of the police and nationwide guard. Officers arrested 47 folks.
