A Milestone Celebration with Eyes on the Future

EY Ghana has reached a significant milestone—25 years of delivering impactful professional services across assurance, tax, consulting, and strategy. Marking the occasion, the firm renewed its commitment to driving business growth through EY Ghana AI business innovation. The anniversary launch event, held at EY Ghana’s headquarters in Cantonments, Accra, gathered stakeholders, alumni, and business leaders to celebrate this legacy.

Driving Transformation Through AI and Sustainability

At the event, Emmanuel Adekahlor, Country Managing Partner and Assurance Partner, highlighted the urgency for businesses to adapt. He stressed that embracing artificial intelligence and prioritizing sustainability is no longer optional. Organizations that fail to do so risk being left behind.

“Over the past 25 years, EY Ghana has built strong capabilities across our service lines,” Adekahlor said. “Now, we look to the future—helping more clients deliver value faster and more effectively.”

Strengthening Institutions and Advancing Governance

The anniversary also acknowledged EY Ghana’s vital role in supporting Ghana’s regulatory landscape. By working with institutions like the Bank of Ghana and the Securities and Exchange Commission, the firm has played a part in advancing compliance, transparency, and good governance.

Over the years, EY Ghana has become a trusted advisor, offering integrated services backed by deep sector insights. These strengths have allowed clients to unlock opportunities, manage risk, and build resilient businesses.

High-Performing Teams at the Core

The firm attributes much of its success to its high-performing, multidisciplinary teams. Each division has made unique contributions:

  • Tax Services: Guiding businesses through complex regulatory environments while aligning with strategic growth.

  • Assurance: Building trust in financial markets through technology-enabled quality assessments.

  • Consulting: Redefining business models and boosting organizational performance.

  • Public Sector Collaboration: Contributing to institutional development and informed policymaking.

Giving Back to the Next Generation

Beyond its core business, EY Ghana has shown strong commitment to social impact. Through its EY Reports programme, the firm has supported over 1,000 young people with educational sponsorships and community outreach. This initiative reflects EY’s vision of nurturing future leaders and empowering communities.

A Call to Think Boldly and Collaborate

As EY Ghana looks ahead, Mr. Adekahlor encouraged both staff and partners to think boldly, collaborate widely, and stay committed to innovation. “Our next chapter will be built on creativity, resilience, and continued service to our clients and country,” he said.

Business Executive Ismael Yamson also inspired the team to reflect on their roles in the firm’s success and to maintain a shared focus on excellence and national prosperity.

What’s Next in the Celebration

The 25th anniversary will continue with several upcoming activities including:

  • Thanksgiving services

  • Seminars and thought leadership events

  • The launch of a commemorative memoir

These events aim to honour the firm’s journey and set the stage for its future.
