Frank Amankwah urges Bechem United fans not to give up

Frank Amankwah urges Bechem United fans not to give up as the club battles early-season struggles in the Ghana Premier League and promises improved performances ahead. The midfielder admitted that the team’s start has been disappointing, but he insisted that brighter days are still possible with collective belief and effort.

“We are confident that before the season ends, things will get better,” Amankwah said after the club’s goalless draw against Nations FC, adding that the players are working hard to reverse the slump. Bechem United currently sit in the relegation zone after securing just one win from their first eight matches. Their run of form prompted the sacking of coach Desmond Issah-Botchway and the appointment of Kobina Amissah to steady the ship.

Amankwah, a former star midfielder for Eleven Wonders and Bibiani Goldstars, earned the Man of the Match award in the draw and said that the performance showed the fighting spirit within the squad. He appealed directly to the fans: “Don’t give up on us; we will repay your faith with results.”

The veteran added that internal changes are being made within the team to reinforce defensive stability and sharpen attacking output. He acknowledged that patience will be required, but stressed that fan support remains vital: “We need you now more than ever.” Football analysts believe that the club’s response over the next few fixtures could define their campaign’s trajectory and determine whether they escape relegation.

In the meantime, Amankwah’s message is clear — despite a shaky start, Bechem United are not giving up and are working to turn the tide. And for the fans who have stuck with them, he wants to ensure hope remains alive.
