Haruna Iddrisu Endorses VP Opoku-Agyemang as First Female President

Haruna Iddrisu Supports Ghana’s First Female President Vision

The push for Ghana’s first female President continues to grow. Haruna Iddrisu has openly endorsed Vice-President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang for Ghana’s highest office. He described her as competent, visionary, and ready to lead with honesty.

At the Ghana Teacher Prize Awards held at the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Iddrisu praised Opoku-Agyemang’s leadership record. He said her background in education and governance proves she can deliver effective leadership for the nation.

Iddrisu noted that his comments followed earlier remarks made during her visit to the Education Ministry. At that event, he wished her success and expressed hope she would one day become president. His new statement removes doubt about his full support.

He added that every vice president carries the potential to lead the country. Opoku-Agyemang, he said, has shown she can take on that role with confidence. Ghana, in his view, is ready for a strong woman leader.

Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, once Minister of Education, has earned respect for her dedication and results. Iddrisu believes her leadership qualities and vision make her the best candidate to become Ghana’s first female President and inspire new generations.
