Semenyo Pens Fresh Contract Through 2030

AFC Bournemouth has secured the long-term future of forward Antoine Semenyo, who has signed a new contract that will keep him at the Vitality Stadium until the summer of 2030.

The 25-year-old Ghanaian international, who joined from Bristol City in January 2023, has quickly become a vital part of the Cherries’ attacking force. His dynamic performances and consistent goal contributions played a central role in Bournemouth’s record-setting 2024/25 Premier League campaign.

Stellar 2024/25 Season Fuels New Deal

Semenyo enjoyed a breakout season, scoring 13 goals and providing seven assists across all competitions. His attacking output helped propel Bournemouth to their highest-ever Premier League points total (56) and joint-best league finish (9th).

Club Leadership Praises Semenyo’s Impact

Tiago Pinto, President of Football Operations, expressed his enthusiasm about the extension:

“Antoine has been instrumental in our progress and is a cornerstone of our project here at Bournemouth.

His dedication reflects the ambition we share as a club, and we’re excited to see what more we can achieve together following a historic season.”

Semenyo: “I’ve Grown So Much Here”

Semenyo himself shared his excitement about the future:

“I’ve developed massively, both as a player and a person, since joining Bournemouth.

From the fans to the staff and my teammates, the support has been amazing. I’m thrilled to commit my future here and can’t wait to get back to work for the new season.”

Cherries Career So Far

Since arriving at Bournemouth, Semenyo has made 89 appearances, scoring 22 goals and providing 10 assists in all competitions. He is expected to rejoin Andoni Iraola’s squad in the coming days as the team gears up for pre-season preparations.

AFC Bournemouth fans will be delighted to see one of their standout stars extend his stay, as the club aims to build on its impressive momentum heading into the 2025/26 campaign.
