Apostle Kwadwo Safo’s Funeral: Legal Disputes and Attendance

The funeral service for renowned religious leader Apostle Kwadwo Safo is underway, despite a contentious legal battle among family members concerning his last will. Sarah Adwoa Safo’s spokesperson, Seth Kofi Osei Kissi, confirmed that the ceremony is proceeding as planned, dismissing rumors of a postponement due to court interventions.

Osei Kissi, speaking on a local radio program, clarified that the funeral is currently taking place, attracting a large crowd from various regions, including international attendees from South Africa. He emphasized that the proceedings are moving smoothly, with no legal injunctions hindering the event.

Reports had surfaced about an attempt by some family members to halt the burial, arguing that the late Apostle’s final desires were not respected. However, Osei Kissi stated that he had received no notifications regarding any court orders.

He assured the public that legal representatives have addressed estate-related concerns and any outstanding issues will be handled post-funeral. Osei Kissi urged attendees to participate peacefully, highlighting the significant contributions of Apostle Safo to education and social causes.

Security measures have been implemented to ensure the safety of all attendees, with authorities prepared to manage potential disruptions. The legal disputes surrounding Apostle Safo’s estate are expected to continue beyond the funeral rites.
