Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Presidential Candidate for the 2024 elections, is embarking on a nationwide “Thank You Tour” alongside party leaders. This initiative kicks off on Saturday, April 26, 2025, and is designed to show gratitude to NPP members and the general public for their steadfast support during the 2024 elections.
Approved by the Party’s National Council, the tour operates under the theme: “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), highlighting the party’s dedication to acknowledging divine guidance. This tour is not only a gesture of thanks but also an opportunity for the Presidential Candidate and the campaign team to reconnect with grassroots supporters and appreciate the communal efforts that fueled the 2024 electoral success.
The tour will include interfaith national thanksgiving services, bridging Christian and Islamic communities. Starting in the Western Region on April 26th, the tour will cover all sixteen regions, with strategic stops in NPP strongholds like the Ashanti and Greater Accra Regions from April 29th to May 1st, and May 10th to 12th, respectively. The tour will conclude in the Central Region on June 4, 2025.
Each regional stop will feature constituency-level gatherings aimed at bolstering party unity and morale ahead of future political engagements. NPP has invited all members to participate enthusiastically in these events within their areas to foster a spirit of appreciation and solidarity within both the party and the broader Ghanaian democratic framework.
By connecting with NPP members nationwide, this tour seeks not only to deepen the party’s relationship with its supporters but also to promote a culture of gratitude and unity across the political landscape of Ghana.
