Aston Villa is set to make a striking statement with their kit designs for the 2026-27 season, as early details have emerged. Continuing their partnership with adidas for a third consecutive year, the club is poised to blend nostalgia with innovation in their latest apparel offerings.
The home kit, rumored to be released by early summer, is a departure from the traditional claret body and sky blue sleeves. This season, the shirt will embrace an all-claret design, reminiscent of the club’s 1969 outfit, featuring a classic polo collar and a sleek monochrome pale blue club crest. Complementing the shirt, the ensemble includes white shorts and sky blue socks accented by claret or gold.
Fans eager for the away kit can expect a continuation of the black base, enhanced with vibrant claret, sky blue, and yellow detailing. This kit, part of adidas’ retro-inspired ‘Elite’ range, is anticipated to debut in late July or early August, post-World Cup 2026. Unlike the home kit, it will feature a standalone lion crest, a nod to the club’s heritage.
The third kit maintains the contrast between the away and third designs, sporting a light base color with a unique swirl pattern inspired by Villa Park’s gates. This design will replace the adidas Trefoil with the ‘mountain’ logo, placed centrally above the club crest. The release is expected alongside the away kit, with prices starting at £80 for replicas and £110 for authentic versions.
These unconfirmed designs, based on early leaks, reflect Aston Villa’s commitment to honoring their storied past while embracing the future, potentially providing fans with a fresh look for the upcoming season.
