The Ghana Armed Forces has confirmed the arrest of two soldiers in a galamsey extortion case Ghana. The soldiers, along with two civilians, tried to rob Longshine Mining Company in Obouhu, near Prestea in the Western Region.

A video on social media shows the soldiers in uniform being led into a police van. They were later flown to Accra for further investigations.
