Ghana Launches Centralized Recruitment for Security Services Today

On November 17, 2025, Ghana officially commenced its recruitment process for various internal security agencies, marked by the unveiling of the Centralized Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP). The portal, which opened at noon, will allow potential candidates to submit their applications until December 19, 2025, providing over a month for interested individuals to participate.

This recruitment initiative encompasses four essential agencies: the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Prisons Service. The Ministry of Interior announced the launch via its official Facebook page.

To apply, candidates must obtain a recruitment voucher. This can be done through the USSD code *71303# accessible on all mobile networks or by visiting any GCB Bank branch across the country. The Ministry emphasized the importance of selecting the correct voucher corresponding to the agency of interest to ensure proper processing of applications.

The introduction of the C-SERP platform aims to enhance the recruitment process’s transparency and accessibility. Officials are keen to stress that the selection procedure will adhere strictly to meritocratic principles, free from any external influence.

In its announcement, the Ministry warned applicants to be wary of intermediaries promising guaranteed placements for a fee. “There are no middlemen in the recruitment process. Remain vigilant to avoid scams,” the statement urged, reinforcing that the C-SERP process is designed to be equitable and open to all eligible Ghanaians.

As part of the government’s commitment to a credible recruitment exercise, officials have reiterated their stance against fraudulent activities during this period. They encouraged the public to stay alert and report any suspicious activities.
