Global Entrepreneurship Festival 2025 in Ghana will be hosted by President John Dramani Mahama, with Ghana set as the venue for the landmark event from November 21-23, 2025, during Global Entrepreneurship Week. The festival will be held at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel & Resort in Accra.
President Mahama affirmed that Ghana is fully prepared for what he described as a “historic global event.” He welcomed thousands of global delegates and expressed confidence that the theme — “The AI-Powered Entrepreneur: Creating a Sustainable Planet” — aligns with his government’s vision of leveraging technology and artificial intelligence to accelerate innovation, create jobs, and boost national development.
He commended the Global Entrepreneurship Festival board for choosing Ghana for this honour and promised his full support to make GEF 2025 a resounding success. Mahama added that Ghana will not only showcase its rich culture and hospitality but also the strength and potential of its entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The festival is expected to unite more than 10,000 in-person participants, over 200 investors, some 100 exhibitors, and over 60 global speakers from more than 70 countries. It is also expected to attract about 10 million virtual viewers.
Over the three days, GEF 2025 will host 12 major events, including conferences, business pitch sessions, a hackathon, innovations & robotics expo, international trade fair & exhibitions, arts, sports & entertainment, leadership forums, a women’s congress, fashion show, and a closing concert. These gatherings aim to bring together entrepreneurs, policymakers, MSMEs, tech innovators and investors under one roof.
President Mahama declared that Ghana is “open, ready and committed” to making GEF 2025 a landmark. He believes this festival will not only highlight what Ghana has to offer globally but will also reinforce its position as a gateway to Africa for business, technology and enterprise.
