Heartfelt Appeal: Suzzy Pinaman Seeks Assistance After Tragic Incident

In recent news from the Ashanti Region, Suzzy Pinaman, a second-year student at Adventist Senior High School, has made a heartfelt appeal for support following a tragic incident that left her blind in one eye. Tragically, Suzzy was shot by a classmate, and she is now pleading for help from notable figures such as former Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong and businessman Ibrahim Mahama.

In a video shared by GhanaWeb, Suzzy is seen at home, suffering from severe eye pain, which has prevented her from attending school. The lingering bullet fragments in her eye make it impossible for her to sleep or even close her eyes.

Suzzy’s situation has left her and her mother in despair, with no support or means for medical treatment. In the video, Suzzy makes an emotional plea: “Hon Kennedy Agyapong and Ibrahim Mahama, I am pleading with you to hear my cry and come to my aid. I have no one.”

The incident occurred on April 4, 2025, during school break time when a classmate, Bernard Amoabeng, allegedly brought a firearm to school. A debate about the gun’s authenticity led to a tragic decision by Amoabeng to pull the trigger, injuring Suzzy and another student.

The 16-year-old suspect is now in police custody, facing charges related to the incident.
