NDC lastly decides to partake in upcoming voters’ registration train

The Nationwide Democratic Congress (NDC) has lastly opened up on whether or not the opposition celebration will participate within the upcoming voters’ registration train fastened for April 18 by the Electoral Fee (EC).

“As a party, we are already preparing for the limited registration exercise…we will be ready but they (EC) will fail,” the Nationwide Communications Officer of the celebration, Sammy Gyamfi stated whereas contributing to a panel dialogue on Peace FM’s morning present ‘Kokrokoo’ Wednesday.

The NDC and another smaller political events underneath the umbrella; Inter-Occasion Resisitaance towards New Voters Register, have sworn to withstand the Electoral Fee’s choice to compile a brand new voters’ register.

In response to this, Sammy Gyamfi stated: “We are already prepared…because by law the EC needs to conduct a limited registration exercise. So as a party we are already preparing for that exercise. If the EC says there will be no limited registration but rather wants to compile a new register, we will be ready but they will fail…”

In the meantime, the Common Secretary of the NDC has said that the scheduled compilation of the brand new voters’ register won’t come off.

“When you doubt us that would be the first publicity in regards to the lies they’ve been telling the nation. You at the moment are within the means of procurement, we’re in March so between at this time and 18th April it’s a must to convey samples or prototype of your tools to go and do pilot registration, prepare everyone earlier than you come and begin the registration.
