Queen Emma Released on Bail After Arrest at Airport

Queen Emma, a prominent member of the Team Legal Wives association, has been released on bail after a dramatic arrest at Accra International Airport. The outspoken TikToker was detained on April 15, 2026, while preparing to travel to Germany, where she resides. Her arrest was reportedly triggered by allegations from Odo Broni, following her controversial remarks regarding the late highlife musician Daddy Lumba.

Emma’s bail was set at GH₵100,000, requiring two justified sureties. Following her court appearance, she was seen leaving the Accra Circuit Court dressed in white, accompanied by fellow Team Legal Wives members and law enforcement officers. As part of her bail conditions, Emma must report to the police every two weeks at 10:00 a.m. until the legal proceedings conclude. Furthermore, her passport and mobile phone have been temporarily seized, pending the fulfillment of her bail obligations.

Social media has been abuzz with reactions to Emma’s release, with many expressing varied opinions on the situation. Her court case is scheduled to resume on May 21, 2026.

In related news, the Team Legal Wives group recently demonstrated their solidarity by gifting Akosua Serwaa, the first wife of Daddy Lumba, a substantial cash amount. The funds, totaling GH¢130,000, were raised through the association’s social media efforts following Serwaa’s celebration event at the University of Ghana.
