The family of the late Prophet Prince Elisha Kofi Osei, the esteemed Founder and General Overseer of Grace Family Church International, has publicly shared the details surrounding his passing. According to an official announcement, the prominent cleric died from cardiac arrest on Friday, February 13, 2026.
This heartfelt statement was co-signed by members of the Amokuma Tankam Ahinkora Anona Family from Dutch Komenda/Elmina/Sekondi, alongside notable religious figures including His Eminence Elisha Salifu Amoako, President of the National Prophetic and Apostolic Churches Council, and Archbishop General Dr. Obenfo George Slezer Ofori-Atta, Prelate of the Council of World Bishops and Clergies based in Philadelphia, USA.
In their statement, the family expressed their profound sorrow while also conveying a message of hope regarding resurrection. They described Prophet Osei’s death as unexpected, highlighting the emotional toll it has taken on his wife, children, church community, and all who were touched by his ministry.
