Public Holidays Announced for Good Friday and Easter Monday in Ghana

The Interior Minister, Muntaka Mubarak, has officially announced that Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, 2025, will be celebrated as public holidays in observance of Good Friday and Easter Monday. These days have been designated as statutory public holidays and should be recognized throughout the country.

“The general public is hereby informed that Friday, 18th April 2025, and Monday, 21st April 2025, which mark Good Friday and Easter Monday respectively, are Statutory Public Holidays and should be observed as such throughout the country.
