According to a leak from a reputable source on Weibo, the device might come equipped with a battery exceeding 5,500 mAh, setting a new benchmark for iPhones.
Currently, the iPhone 17 Pro Max holds the title for the largest battery in an Apple smartphone, featuring a 5,088 mAh capacity. However, existing foldable devices like the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 have battery sizes of 5,015 mAh and 4,400 mAh, respectively. Should Apple’s foldable iPhone indeed house a battery larger than 5,500 mAh, it would position itself as a leader in the market.
